Documentary Proposal
1. | Topic Paedophile victimising young people through social networking sites. |
2. | Important questions that need an answer (three or more) How can we stop this? How to do we make the children aware? What are the right ways to deal with it? |
3. | Three talking heads (who I will interview formally) Victim ( Georgina Nelson ) Expert ( Councillor ) Victims Parent |
4. | Voice-over narration (what I will say about the topic through a narrator) “The UK has over 250,000 paedophiles” “One in every 200 adults are paedophiles” I will show more detail in the voice over to give more effect and make it more dramatic. A voice over will also help if younger people are watching as it makes everything easier to understand. |
5. | On-location footage (what I will show while narrating) |
6. | The Twist(something cool to impress audience) A twist will be the true story as it will add shock factor to the documentary and make it more dramatic as it will be a real story. We will use all facts and not make anything up. |
7. | How I plan to “get it done”. We will start filming the reconstruction first which will hopefully only take one or two days. We will do this by using 3 actors, the victim, the paedophile and the victim’s parent. We will then start to film other things which will include filming vulnerable places like schools and parks we will do this for shock factor. Editing will take place after we have all the footage and information we will then put it all together and plan out how we will edit it. |

Internet stalker profile (and any stalker, especially a male)
If you've been wooed by a cyberstalker, this profile will bring you back to reality:
- lives in a 1-room apartment which hasn't been cleaned for months - if ever
- has stacks of pornographic magazines in his bedroom area
- has poor personal hygiene
- has poor table manners
- has poor social etiquette
- hasn't changed the sheets on his bed for months, which are now best described as crusty
- has a bathroom, the state of which doesn't bear thinking about
- lives on pizza and beer/coke, the remnants of which litter his apartment
- may have an unusual pet (eg ferret) which has free run of the apartment
- is either significantly over- or under-weight
- has a small moustache or other facial hair
- has not held down any job for more than a couple of years, probably less
- has no friends
- has no life outside the Internet
The Internet stalker probably has other unpleasant characteristics that sexual harassers possess, and the usual sexual inadequacy including lack of intimacy, controlling behaviour, no concept of the partner's needs, premature ejaculation, and an abnormal belief bordering on obsession in his smallness.
Warning signs
These are the signs to be alert to:

- refuses to accept "no" for an answer
- isolates you from your friends and/or family
- puts you down in front of your family or friends
- sends frequent unsolicited or unwelcome gifts
- makes offers of unsolicited help
- excessive niceness in the early stages
- use of guilt to manipulate your feelings or to force you into courses of action you feel unhappy with
- extreme jealousy
- frequent loss of temper
- abuse of alcohol and/or drugs
- following you wherever you go
- threats
- physical or verbal abuse
- damage or destruction to your property
- talks about violence or is fascinated with themes of violence
- makes your family or friends feel scared or uneasy
Pre-production is what you got to do before your final piece. This includes finding locations, casting and hire actors, choice characters clothes, rent cameras, lights and equipment. An extremely detailed schedule is produced and arrangements are made for the necessary elements to be available to the film-makers at the appropriate times. You need to make sure you have everything carefully planned and detailed plans. Make sure you have all the documentation which would be contracts if you hired actors and staff. Also you need a storyboard to keep everything running smoothly and so you do not forget anything. A documentary film is a movie that attempts, in some way, to document reality. Even though the scenes are carefully chosen and arranged, they are not scripted, and the people in a documentary film are not actors. Sometimes, a documentary film may rely on voice-over narration to describe what is happening in the footage; in other films, the footage will speak for itself. Often, a documentary film will include interviews with the people in the film.
Examples:

A news program, news programme, news show, or newscast is a regularly scheduled radio or television program that reports current events. News is typically reported in a series of individual stories that are presented by one or more anchors. A news program can include live or recorded interviews by field reporters, expert opinions, opinion poll results, and occasional editorial content.
Examples:

A factual programme is a factual documentary that is nothing but facts. They would use experts and research to show a point.

b) given a reasonable site rental fee in accordance with the budget of the film
c) issued with an approved location contract which clearly states the terms agreed between themselves and the production company
d) given details of any art department requirements including dressing and construction
